In honor of ee cummings

I wrote this for my poetry class this fall. Enjoy.

  1. A perfect Cummings poem Joel. It has double meaning spread all through the body of this one. Good work.

Quick question though – why did you place the parenthesis on a line by themselves?

  2. Because it looks cool, Scott! Actually, I hope that it emphasizes separation and independence while subtly suggesting that no matter how independent something is, it is still connected to something, somewhere.
